The rules to follow to freeze meat

WE OFFER ADEQUATE ADVICE TO FROZEN MEAT CORRECTLY, TO AVOID BAD SURPRISES.

MEAT AND REFRIGERATED TRIPENED PRODUCTS MAY BE FROZEN UNDER CERTAIN RULES:

Lower the freezer temperature to at least -24 ° C to freeze as quickly as possible. Many freezers have a special button to activate this function.
Proceed under optimal hygiene conditions (worktop and clean hands …).
Pack the pieces one by one in freezer bags or in portions, only to defrost the desired amount.
For packaged meat, it is important to leave them in their original packaging.
Do not wait until the last day of the Consumption Deadline (DLC) mentioned on the package to freeze them; the sooner is always better.
Write on each bag the name of the piece and its date of freezing.
Respect the shelf life which differs according to the pieces and the species.
